Cubix is an open source ROOT based graphical interface providing a large number of tools for gamma-ray spectroscopy analysis. It is linked with the TkN library to provide a direct access to nuclear databases like ENSDF, XUNDL or NuDat3.
It allows to:
- Analyse 1D, 2D, 3D gamma spectra:
- fit peaks,
- perform coincidence analysis,
- estimate backgrounds.
- Perform angular correlation analysis:
- plot theoretical distributions,
- determine transition multipolarity,
- evaluate mixing ratio.
- Characterize detectors:
- energy calibrations,
- resolution estimation,
- efficiency measurements.
- Browse nuclear databases:
- ENSDF reader to display published values on spectra,
- coincidence finder
- nuclear chart browser.
Full installation and operating documentation is available at https://cubix.in2p3.fr.
